I had recently watched “Familia”. I have been blown away by the incredible cinematic craft, aesthetic and the filmmaker’s tender sensibility with his characters in Familia. Their story of resilience, love and hope touches me deeply in a way that not other documentary has before. Every aspect of this film is a gem in itself and its poetic language with its seamless cinema vérité approach is superb.
